Foreign nationals may now enjoy longer stay in the Philippines with the Long-Stay Visitor Visa Extension (LSVVE) program of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) without the need to frequently visit the Immigration by extending the tourist visa prior to the expiry date of the regular visa transaction.

Now, foreigners may apply for a maximum of six (6) months visa extension stay in the Philippines under a single transaction at the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
